Crete

The biggest and most populous island in Greece is Crete, which was home to the mythical Minotaur and King Minos. A number of smaller islands compose Crete, including two of the largest namely Gavdos and Dia. When viewed from outer space, the island of Crete is clearly visible separating the Libyan and Aegean Seas in the Eastern Mediterranean.
