This is the best scuba diving sport near Paleokastrítsa, where the best sites are located as well. A scenic canyon on the northwest shore of the islet is where dives typically start. This is the birthplace of Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. It was built in 1831 for the British High Commissioner and was later used by the Greek royal family as their summer home.
