This is a complex of monasteries constructed on pillars made of natural sandstone. These beautiful sandstone pillars are amazing to see. Considered as one of the largest complexes in the country, these Eastern Orthodox monasteries are still inhabited today by men and women monks. Of the 20 monasteries, six are still open. Temple of Apollo at Delphi

One of the most recognizable ruins at Delphi, this temple was where the statues and offerings to the god were stored. This was also a place of cult rituals and divination. Melissani Lake, Kefalonia

This haven is an uninhabited pristine beach with white sand, quite unique from the common rocky or pebble beaches in Greece. The water is clear and swimming in the sea is possible for about 100 feet where the view at the bottom is still visible. Water Temperature in June is perfect and only few people go for a dip.
