Kardamena

Also referred to as Kardamena, the interesting fact about this small town is that it was built in what used to be an ancient city known as Alasarna. This event has led to significant archaeological excavations that have unearthed the ruins of a sanctuary honoring Hercules and Apollo. Other discoveries include remnants of a marble temple constructed around 300 B.C., Romanian structures and a theatre. Also, there are beautiful beaches and restaurants as well as great views.
